Cheaper than chips
In the consumer warehouse that is Tesco, Bristol, I came across a huge 5kg tub of yoghurt for £3.50. That's 70p a kilogram, or the equivalent of less than 9p for a normal 125ml pot.
How can food be offered this cheaply? And where does that leave producers if they can be squeezed that hard by supermarkets?
